In September 2008, UC's entrepreneurship program was ranked 21st by Entrepreneur Magazine and the Princeton Review in their sixth annual ranking of the top graduate and undergraduate entrepreneurship programs in the nation.

StratPad, an iPad app, was designed by Alex Glassey in 2011 to help small- and medium-sized businesses and their consultants with their strategy and business planning. StratPad offers a unique business planning tutorial; walks customers through a step-by-step business planning process; prepares all the reports necessary including a summary business plan and financial projections; lets users graph and annotate their progress towards their business goals in full-color charts. StratPad’s world-wide release date was December 1, 2011. Interim releases occur about every 60 days. The StratPad team is based in Victoria, Canada.
